ParticipantThank you both so much, you have helped me more than I thought possible. Your words have helped me sort through my emotions and come to terms with them. I’m currently trying to get a hold of medicaid, they have yet to send me my card and until they do I cant get any medication.
It could take weeks.
I’m doing my best to stop this feeling from swallowing me up and taking over my life. I have to stay strong for my daughter. Its easier said than done when so little can make you smile.Once again, thank you for everything.

ParticipantI agree with qeenB. Your feelings are more than normal. I’ve wanted a baby more than anything for as long as I could remember.
Try babysitting, daycares or even going to the play ground and playing with other kids. Who knows, maybe it’ll help assuage that overwhelming urge to be a mommy.

ParticipantI’m 36 weeks and it STILL doesn’t feel real to me. I just feel fat and uncomfortable. Pregnancy has not been the best experience for me, but I’m sure that once I’m holding that little baby in my arms it’ll finally hit me. I love my baby more than the world and if anything happened I don’t know how I’ll survive – but that doesn’t make this whole pregnancy thing any less weird :p
Maybe you’ll be like me and wont ever feel comfortable with being pregnant, or maybe you’ll wake up one morning and feel like a glowing ball of joy! :cheer:
Either way, I wish you the best of luck!

ParticipantI really doubt it, if its been this long.
you’d be fairly far along.
But if you’re really unsure about it then I’d recommend going to either a doctor or a free-clinic and getting another test done.SarahSmiles
ParticipantYou could very well be in labor.
Best thing to do is go to the doctor.
If your not feeling good about it, no matter what the symptoms are – go to the doctor. Better be safe than sorry.
I hope everything goes okay. Keep posted!SarahSmiles
ParticipantI’m due April 29th. Soon soon! But let me tell ya, not soon enough. haha 😛

ParticipantI would not worry it about it at all, especially if your doctor doesn’t show any concern. The same thing happened to me except I had debilitating morning sickness up until my third month. (even water turned my stomach sour) I had lost a good six pounds until I finally started gaining it back and that was at about six months. While my doctor showed no distress about it it still bothered me so I took it upon myself to find ways to gain weight. I would drink a large glass of chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast every morning and sometimes again at night (mostly because I thought it was delicious) and soon enough I slowly started packing on the pounds =]]]
I hope this helped you.SarahSmiles
ParticipantWhen you want to push yourself into labor I’ve heard from a lot of veteran moms that doing things such as moving heavy furniture around or even having sex.
My doctor says that sperm has some kind of chemical or vitamin in it that helps thin out the cervix.
I’ve also heard one woman say that playing video games helped push her into labor because they made her tense her body up which caused contractions. lol. Yes, weird, but so are most of the things you hear about during pregnancy :p -
