ParticipantAs soon as I became pregnant, I knew right away. I was 2-3 weeks after my missed period and my breasts were SORE….and I don’t mean they are sore for a couple hours and then they are okay…sore ALL the time like I got hit by a bus. I wore 6 bras constantly. My moods were out of control. Then I had morning sickness…not just morning…all day long. So bad that I developed food avoidance. I was not eating anything at all. Water made me sick. Then I was urinating every 2 minutes…I stayed in the bathroom so long I had my own zipcode. That was just me, though. Women are all different. Wait until you miss a period…then worry. In the meantime, don’t stress too much and just go with the flow. Best of luck to you.

ParticipantA comfortable blanket (Hospitals are freezing cold all the time), feminine pads (heavy and overnites)-the ones the hospitals give you just don’t cut it, extra pillows if you want.

ParticipantYou be strong and you stay strong. It took you a few times to learn, but you did the right thing in the end. I am soooo proud of you, sweetheart!!! When it comes to the ex though, I have four words for ya:

ParticipantHi sweetheart,
The antibiotic in meds used to treat UTI’s can make you sick. Did you take these meds on an empty stomach? Vaginitis and a UTI…are you a swimmer or do you do too many baths? It’s hard for me to give you much advice without knowing when the last time you had unprotected sex was and when your last period was. I’d say just wait it out for a couple weeks and then take a pregnancy test.

ParticipantFertility meds containing high amounts of HGC hormone and Progesterone can induce a false positive. If you are not taking fertility drugs, here’s the rule of thumb: YOU CAN GET A FALSE NEGATIVE, BUT YOU CAN NEVER GET A FALSE POSITIVE. Never!

ParticipantHi sweetheart, I’m going to give you as much help as I can. It has been about a month since your last period. It is actually quite possible that you are about to get your period. A negative pregnancy test is normal at this point. If you do NOT receive your period in 2-3 more weeks, attempt another pregnancy test. I have never tested false and I will tell you, the digital tests are the most accurate on the shelves right now. 2 weeks after my missed period, I took a digital test and tested positive. I am guessing to be about 7 weeks along right now.
Sounds like you have nothing to worry about, yet. Just wait it out for a couple weeks past your expected period date and test again.MissJLee
ParticipantI do not know how far you are into your pregnancy, but the heavy bleeding could mean a number of things. There are women who become pregnant, have their period the entire pregnancy, and the baby is fine. Are you having a lot of tissue emission/lots of clumps? Examine any tissue clumps…are they about the size of a quarter? If so, I would so see a doc ASAP. This could mean severe complications for you and for baby. If you are not wanting the baby and a miscarriage is what you want, still, do not go untreated. Nature is going to take it’s course…the only reason why women have miscarriages is because the body is detection something wrong with the pregnancy. Do not go untreated…this can lead to a massive intrauterine infection and can be deadly. Go see the doc as you as you can. Better to be safe than sorry.

ParticipantHi there, my name is Jamie and I am a pregnant paramedic. In reference to your worries, 2 days is NOT enough time to show symptoms of pregnancy. The pregnancy symptoms begin when the embryo implants itself onto the walls of the uterus. That takes 2 weeks at the least. Vaginal swelling and abdominal/side pain tell me that you and your bf are not having gentle sex. Vaginal swelling is a simple sign of inflammation due to friction, dryness, being too rough, etc. Other pains in the local area in the given time frame could be the changing of positions and being too rough. All the other symptoms are probably sparked by worries, the fact that you are in pain, soon to be period time, etc. You will not show signs of pregnancy 2 days after having sex. No worries there. Just be careful. Hope I could be of some help to you.
