ParticipantNo. five weeks doesn’t make it ineffective…if you leave it in over five weeks thats when it lowers its chances its protection of pregnancy.

ParticipantWell when I went to my first doctors apointment the lady told me alot about her before she did anything. If you aren’t comfortable with a male doctor then let them know that…they should respect your wishes. if there is a group for women around you, then you should check it out, they are really good with everyone and teenagers too. I’m 13 and that is where I am going. All the people are ladies except for a couple men, but they aren’t the people who are up in your area. But ya where ever you go just tell the you are not comfortable with a male doctor, if they don’t respect that then you shouldn’t go there.

ParticipantI am 13 and I am pregnant. I’m keeping the baby and I’m happy. I think that you should sit down and think about what you really want. I’m here for you if you need anyone to talk to because I understand the situation. If you have any questions or concerns you can message me or whatever people do on this. I’m new to this place…

ParticipantHeyy,You should jsut sit down and talk to yourmom about it. I’m pregnant, I’m 13, and my parents are fine. I always thought they would flip out but I told them fast just so i could get prenatal care and my mom pretty much expected it…They aren’t happy at first just really disapointed and they may seem sad throughout the whole pregnancy but when she sees her grandchilds face she will be exstatic!!! lol. So just tell her…whats done is done and you can’t change it now right?
