    Hi Stacy-

The only way to detect a pregnancy is to wait until 5 days after a MISSED period. Your ovulation test might have said you were ovulating, but that is not a guarantee that you are pregnant. Once you have missed your period, then you can take a pregnancy test to see what is going on. If you need a place to get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL pregnancy test, please go to http://www.optionline.org or text the word PREGNANT to 313131 and someone is there 24/7 to help you out.

    Keep me posted!

    Hi Tabitha-

If it is something that persists, please get a hold of your doctor. They can check you out and make sure it is nothing serious.

    Hi-

There are times I think all us mom’s have lows…especially when we are tired and maybe are not getting any alone time! Do you have some close family or friends that could make a regular commitment each week to watch Grayson so you can do somethings for yourself? Maybe join a mom’s group, prayer group or just go out and pamper yourself? It will really bring some sunshine into your day!

If you feel it is more serious than this, please let me know, I can find some help you for!

    Hi Stacy,

Yes it is a possibility, but you will not be able to detect anything from a pregnancy test until 5 days after your MISSED period. If you can’t wait until then, you could also go into your doctor and ask for a pregnancy test by blood draw. This can often be detected before a urine test. If you go to http://www.optionline.org and enter your zip code, a list of pregnancy centers near you will be listed and they will give you a free and confidential pregnancy test. They can also help you with any questions or concerns you might have.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Hi Mirie-

Sounds like you are in a really tough situation! I know this is going to sound impossible, but the best thing to do is be honest with your boyfriend. If you can not be honest with him, then you really do not have a strong relationship. Do you have any idea who the father might be?

    Hi-

I am sorry you are in this situation!! And so sorry it took us a while to get back to you! How are you doing?

I am not sure what has happened since your message, but NO ONE can force you to have an Abortion. Roe v. Wade protects every women’s right to choose…you are protected by the law and if you are in danger, then you should GO TO THE POLICE and get their protection right away!

Please let me know how you are doing!

    Hi-

I am not a medical professional so I can’t really give you a lot of advice on this, but it could be too early for the test. If you do not have you period in a week or two, test again. If it is still negative, please go see your doctor! This could be the sign a potential problem.

There are several ovulating calendars and apps available to better help you track what is happening. Just do a Google search for ovulating calendars.

I hope this helps a bit. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

    Hi Again-
Please remember that you need to have missed your period by at least 5 days for a pregnancy test to be accurate. I don’t think you have gotten to that point yet, have you?

Yes, any pill that will end a pregnancy is an abortifacient. And NO no one can make you take it. It is your body, your choice!
If you will go to http://www.optionline.org and type in your zipcode, a list of pregnancy help centers near you will come up. Please call one of them right away. They can help you with all of this and can give you a free pregnancy test when you have missed your period.

Let me know if I can help some more!

    Hi again-

For a pregnancy test to show the most accurate results, you need to wait at least 5 days after your missed period! Pregnancy is detected by a hormone in your body. If you become pregnant, the hormone will keep increasing in your body as the days of your missed period increase and this is what the pregnancy test detects. So I am sorry that you need to wait longer, but you shouldn’t really test until 5 days after a MISSED period.

Let me know if you need more info or help and keep us posted!

    Hi-

To get the most accurate results from a pregnancy test, you need to wait at least 5 days AFTER a missed period. So, if your period does not start by June 8th, than you should try another pregnancy test.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi-

Well the unfortunate thing is you can’t really have an accurate pregnancy test until you have a missed period about 5 days late. At that time you can take a pregnancy test. If you need some help with a test or more information about possibly being pregnant, you can go to this website http://www.optionline.org and type in your city name. A list of centers in your neighborhood will be listed and you can go and get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL pregnancy test from them and also they have tons of other resources available…all for FREE.
I hope this helps..let me know if we can help with anything else!
