Typically, you can’t get pregnant till around the 2nd week after your period. It’s possible before that, but not very likely. 🙂 If by ‘pills’ you mean the morning after pill, you should be fine. If you just took a regular birth control pill, those don’t kill semen, and there’s a possibility of getting pregnant. Chances are you’re safe, but if your period doesn’t come around it’s usual time, then test.
If you got a negative pregnancy test, I wouldn’t think you’re pregnant.. I was barely a week late when I used First Response and it came out positive. Maybe because your period is late you’re looking at everything as a symptom? If it doesn’t come again in a week or two, I’d say test again. 🙂 But I think you’re okay for the moment. I used birth control for a while, too, and my boyfriend never pulled out. (I didn’t become pregnant till about 2 months after getting off BC.) I think you’re safe, but if it doesn’t come in a few weeks, I’d recommend testing again.
Also, after getting of the pill/BC, your period can take a while to regulate itself again, so it could just be abnormal for a few months. 🙂
