Hi everyone, i am currently in 3rd year of an art degree and about to embark on a research project in which i will be analyzing the subject of a abortion. I realise this is a huge area and very controversial but i am hoping to tackle issues which are not so readily discussed, they are as follows…

Why do women choose to have abortions, what are the defining factors that lead to their choice, for example personal, medical or social reasons

Ultimately should the decision be the mothers alone, or does the father have the right to be involved

How are women led through the whole process from initial consultation to completion, is emotional support readily available
