Update…

Ok I have been asked for updates so here it is as of now…I am miserable and cannot wait to just be done!! I went back in to L&D to get monitored Tuesday night because of the swelling, seeing spots, pain under my ribcage and the headaches which are all associated with the preeclampsia, I just didn’t want to take a risk. My blood pressure was doing ok and so was the baby’s heart rate but I still have such an abundance of protein in my urine that they are concerned for my health. Basically my kidneys are swelling to the point where they are not performing their function of filtering and they are allowing too much protein to pass though…I have to collect my urine for 24 hours and keep it in my fridge..eeeewww..LOL….then when I go in Thursday at 2pm for my NST I will drop it off at the lab and go from there, I really wish that they would just induce me and let me have the baby…I am on bed rest until I have the baby so it is really hard to keep the kids happy and occupied, thankfully though some friends from church have offered some help and have been bringing dinner for my family each night and will continue to do so for the next few weeks until I am able to be up more and recovered from the birth….Thanks for your continued prayers and I will let you all know how my tests go tomorrow…hopefully I will not be sent home to inform you though..LOL…if they keep me I will have someone else let you know…Love Meg
