Hello, umm.. I dont know how to say this, or shall I say ask this.. so I hope that you undestand what I am saying. I was wondering if it was normal to have random little spiratic pains in the abdomen while your in your first trimester? (I hope thats understandable) SOmetimes I get these little pains, but there short, and its very spiratic. Is it normal? This is my first pregnancy, so I dont really know what all to expect.

Thank You For All of Your Help!!!

I think it’s probably normal. Your uterus is doing a lot of changing right now so it’s possible to feel all sorts of things like cramps or stretching. I’m almost 15 weeks along in my second pregnancy and I’ve had all sorts of pain in my lower abdomen ranging from muscular spasms to PAINFUL, but fleeting cramps. So far so good. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about honey.

I agree with RhiannonsMom, it is very normal especially with the first pregnancy to have pains in your abdominal area, it is ligament pains and your uterus stretching to make room for baby…never hesitate to call your doctor or been seen, it is better to have your fears relieved than to stress or to miss warning signs…I am on my third pregnancy and I am still getting those pains in my 2nd trimester…your doctor will understand if you call several times a week and ask questions, they are used to it…just make sure you keep your mind at peace you will have a much happier pregnancy…we are all here for you anytime…Meg
