last night i broke up with my boyfriend. i was sick of the way he treated me. he reminded me of a prior relationship that was very abusive. i had to stand up formyself.
four hours after i broke up with him, i got scared and took a pregnancy test.
i am pregnant. EPT a BIG BLUE PLUS SIGN. it wasnt even but a tiny drop and as soon as it hit the test applicator the blue was super bright immidiatly; no doubt about it. i am pregnant.
i must only be three weeks, i ended my last cycle on the 5th and its the 7th now.
he says “neither of us can deal with this right now”
we are both in the military, he is active duty and i am in the national guard.
i cant stop crying. he doesnt want a baby. i dont know what to do. i just want someone to talk to. i cant tell my friends becaue i am unsure of what will happen.
March 13, 2009 at 8:17 am #24431myangelsinheavenHello,
I am sorry if you are feeling scared and alone in your situation, but I assure you, you are not.
You made a courageous decision to walk away from something that was harmful to you physically and emotionally. No woman should have to live in fear and you made a healthier choice for yourself.
You can make another courageous choice to carry the baby that is growing inside of you right now, and ask God to give you the grace to be a good mother. He is there for you, you only have to say His name.
Having faith in God to help us walk the path of life while on earth is the only answer. The views and social behaviors that we see in the world today that are self serving and that give immediate satisfaction are all things that pull us further and further away from God. The simpler we become, the closer we get to HIM!! Simple like the innocence of a CHILD!!I am here if you’d like to talk more. I will pray for you especially tonight and will ask God to free you of any anxiety or worry about carrying this baby.
My prayers are with you,
myangelsinheavenMarch 15, 2009 at 3:48 am #24456kez_mummy_2_skyeid say go for it and go through the pregnancy. If he doesnt wanna stick round then thats his problem. He obviously doesn’t have the respect anyway. You have made the right choice to leave. Maybe your instincts kicked in from there.
Good Luck with it.
March 15, 2009 at 11:51 am #24463insubordinateximpx09It’s good that you ended a relationship that you thought was going bad.
If you need someone to talk to, the girls on here are great and they’ve all been through it before.
If you want the baby, do not let anything your ex says have an effect on you.
And if you decide to keep the baby, your ex has no choice but help you out. Financially at least.
Good luck, hun. We’re all here to talk.
March 17, 2009 at 11:08 pm #24480emeraldforestmyheartbroFirstly Id like to say good for you for having the courage to Stand Up to your bf and leave that abusive relationship. Now, you have the chance to Stand Up for not only yourself, but for your unborn baby.
Please, do not punish your child for merely existing. This baby carries half of you with him/her. Can you imagine what it will feel like to stare into your little ones eyes for the first time? This baby loves you already and wants you to give it life.
Also, if you are positive you cannot provide what this child needs, then there are thousands of couples looking to adopt a beautiful baby like yours.
Please, talk to someone who is close to you. A parents, a doctor, a church member.. anyone. From your post it already sounds like you are attatched to your little one. So please, Stand Up and do what is right by God and allow your child to be born. Abortion should not be used as a method of birth control.
Please keep us updated. Take care!
