I recently had an abortion and the doctor told me that I need to stay away from physical activity for the next two weeks.
The problem is I am involved in sports at school and don’t know what to tell my coach and team mates as to why I can’t participate. I don’t want to tell them the real reason because it is none of their business and don’t want people talking about me.
Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?

try getting a medical cert from your gp 🙂 mine gave me one without filling in that I’d had an ab.

does your mom or dad know about this? you could have one of them call your coach and tell s/he that its personal but you need to be excused.

YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO YOUR DR THAT YOU HAD YOUR PROCEDURE THROUGH AND THEY CAN GIVE YOU A CONFIDENTIAL NOTE. IF YOUR PARENTS DO NOT KNOW, THEN PERHAPS YOU CAN TALK WITH YOUR SCHOOL NURSE? DEFINATELY DO NOT RISK PARTICIPATING IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. THE RISKS ARE TOO DANGEROUS. IF NOT, MAYBE A “SPRAINED” ANKLE COMES UP?
