Hi!!!! my name is Liz and I recently found out that I was Pregnant (almost 2 months). My boyfriend is very supportive and he wants me to have the baby. I love him and he loves me and he has already told me that if I want I can set up a date to get marry. I have not told any one in my family and I know that they will get realllly angly and mad. I am the youngest in my family and the only one that had ever atteneded college and they all look up to me to set up an example for my nieces and nephews. I want to have my baby, but that would mean that I would have to give up college since I would not be able offort it any more because my family would stop supporting me. My boyfriend works but he gets paid minium wage and even if I start working if would be impposible to save money for college. I need to tell my family soon since everyone has begun to notice that I am gaining weight but I don’t know how. I am so scare. I know they will be really harsh because they are the traditional family that does not believe in sex before marriage. I need to accept the consequences of my actions but I just don’t think I am brave enough.

        Liz,
It sounds like you have a great boyfriend who loves you. It is not easy, but you have got to tell your family because that is the only way they will have a chance to support you. Who knows, they may even keep paying for your school.
Either way, having kids does not mean giving up your dreams, it only means postboning them or modifying them. Best wishes, I wil be thinking of you.

You sound like a remarkable young lady and you are going to make a fabulous mom. It’s true your parents will be upset- BUT YOU WILL GET THROUGH it and they will be there for you in the end, I bet! At first they may see this as a failure but I ‘m sure that they will come to see what a wonderful daughter they raised and they will be proud of you.
