late period

Hi, my period comes in between the 20’s every month. A day before my expected period, I got sick since I had travelled a whole day to another country. On the day of my period, I thought that was it but my period did not last a day and it was browny. Havent had my period and its 8 days later but my test shows negative…..can someone please help me…..
