hey guys i was just wondering can u get pregnant days bfore ur period like 8 days before. I had alot of sex and my bf ejaculated in i would say no joke like 15 times( it was one day after another for 4 days straight). Anyone cuz i read that ur not suppose to have sex 7 days bfore and 7 days after ur period. help ynone that knows.

I learned in Bio that you can get pregnant before, during, and after your period because the sperm stays in there for a few days. Normally it’s only a few but generally before your period is when you start ovulating and sperm can stay in there for up to 5 days sometimes if you’re ovulating so generally 7 days before you run a better risk of becoming pregnant because of that. But basically, no matter when, if you have sex without a condom and he ejaculates in (or on sometimes) your "area" then you could become pregnant. I think a lot of people forget these things sometimes, I just hope any of this helps.

Thats what I have heard as well. aparently your ovulation time is really close to either before or after your period. Or something like that.

ive never heard that but im almost 99% positive that thats not true. and i know for a fact you can get pregnant anytime anyday no matter if ur on ur period or off your period. you can still get pregnant.

Hi, Ovulation is usually in the middle of your menstrual cycle, so for instance if you have a 28 day cycle you would ovulate on day 14. However this is not a complete garuntee. ovulation is timed 14 days before your period, and seeing that it is impossible to predct the future, know one knows exactly when that will be. It must also be taken in to account that sperm can live for up to five days in the body so there is quite a large margin of error. Bottom line is that using your cycle to predict your fertility is not contraception, and only 5-10% more effective than not bothering at all. Perhaps Googling "human menstrual cycle" might be a good way of inmforming yourselves as there seem to be quite a few people her who are woefully under-eduacted.
