Working on A Project
Hey ya’ll, so I’m not pregnant, but for health class I have to do a project on teen pregnancy so I was wondering if ya’ll could answer a few questions.
1.) How old were you when you first got pregnant?
2.) Were you on birth control? What kind? Were you using it properly?
3.) Did you graduate high school? Did you go on to college?
4.) Are you still with the dad?
5.) Did your parents help pay for the baby or did you have to pay for it all on your own?
6.) Are you on welfare?
7.) How far along were you when you found out you were pregnant? When did you tell your parents? Did you receive prenatal care right away?
8.) Did you have any health complications? If yes, do you know what caused it?Thanks for answering 😀

I got pregnant when I was 16.
I was not on birth control.
I did graduate from high school.
I am not with the dad.
I am on WIC and I get money from SSI.
I am not on welfare.
I was 5 weeks, My mom knew right away and yes.
I did my heart went crazy, i had a heart condition before and that is what set it offShay02

I was 5weeks when I found out. I waited to tell my parents but they knew something was up. I got care from a local clinic as much as they could help.8.) Did you have any health complications? If yes, do you know what

2. I was on the pill, but I have missed a few.
3. I’m currently attending University, so yes.

5. Yes, I was supported by my parents, but I didn’t have to rely on them too much.
6. No
7. I was six weeks when I found out I was pregnant. I told my parents about a month after I found out and I did receive prenatal care right away.
8. I had twins, so that complicated things. When I was about 18 weeks we had a health scare that out little boy had a lot of the markers for downs syndrome, but it turned out that wasn’t the case and his growth was just slightly abnormal from his position in the uterus. They were also born 3 weeks early, but that’s standard for twins.

My mom helped out some, but mostly my fiance and I. He makes really good money so not really something we have to worry about.

I found out at 4weeks 3 days, told my mom at 7 weeks, and had my first prenatal appt at 9 weeks

Not sure if mine counts or not, as I had a miscarriage. But I’ll answer anyway if it helps!
1.) I was 18 when I first got pregnant
2.) I was not on birth control (though it was also something me and my boyfriend wanted)
3.) I graduated high school a year early actually. I’ve taken a few college courses, but not full time.
4.) I am still with my boyfriend / the dad of the baby I miscarried. Though again, we did want the baby and all.
5.) I didn’t tell both my parents about it, only my mum. But it was all on me and my boyfriend. I’m sure my mum would have bought little outfits for the joy if it and all, but I didn’t want her to help me with any of it anyway.
6.) I am not, as I no longer need it
