I feel introductions are in order

::Waves:: I’m Ashlie, 21 years old – will be 22 in November. I thought I’d tell my story here. . . .

I met my husband Mike in 10th grade. And we HATED each other. We’re talking firey passion style. He went on to Running Start and I stayed at the school in ASB. He got his . . . friend pregnant when he was 16 and she was 15. They got married and he built an addition to his parents house that they lived in. They were married 11/30/2002, my step daughter Morgan was born 2/10/2003 and they were divorced 2/3/2004, my husband granted FULL custody, and mom (the uterus, as we like to call her around here) granted weekends every first and third weekend. She hasn’t been around in a year, has never paid child support – she’s a dead beat mom, hence the term "the uterus"

In 12th grade (2004), I met a girl named Brianna, whom I worked with and thought was great. And she was engaged to Mike. Brianna was adament that we would get along great and arranged little get togethers between the three of us. Our hatred, grew to tolerance, which grew to a certain fondness, which progressed to a stead fast friendship. In November 2004, Brianna and Mike split up and she stole $500 from him and came to live wtih me. By the end of the month she had stabbed me in the back so many times that I couldn’t make my December rent and I no longer considered her a friend. Mike and I still talked the whole time, and we came to the conclusion that I would stay with him through December, to get myself taken care of. We called Brianna and asked if that was something she would be okay with, despite all she had done to the two of us. She said she didn’t care and I moved my things in. By mid December, we were asking her her permission to date. It seemed like there could have been so much happiness between us from the begining if we could have just given one another the chance.

February 16, 2004 my doctor confirmed my pregnancy. We weren’t trying to get pregnant but we were definitley not trying to prevent it. We discovered in May that it was another little girl, due October 3. We named her Paige. She came September 30th, after a grueling 40 hours of labor and 4 hours (no joke) of pushing. 14 3/4 inch diameter head is a lot of work!

Everything was going great for us. February 2006, my step father molested my little sister Megan (she’ll be 15 in September). My mom didn’t want to accept it and didn’t do anything about it. By the end of February, we had custody of my sister.

Things moved a long and in November 2006 we concieved again! This time was completley by accident. I had no pregnancy symptoms. I was 10 weeks when we found out. We’re due August third with, you guessed it, another girl! We will name her Leila. We plan to try one more time for a boy, and then my husband is going to get a vasectomy. A lot of people look down on us for having our kids so quickly and so young. We try and look on the positive side. We’re going to wait until Leila is 2 before we try again, which will put us at roughly 25 when the baby would be born. Which would put us at 48 when it graduates high school and moves out. We’re excited that we’ll get to enjoy the years we gave up when we’re established adults and can afford to do the things we couldn’t now. But yeah, that’s my story!
