YOU REALLY NEED TO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU’RE TRYING TO DO BECAUSE HAVING A BABY IS A BIG BIG STEP. I KNOW YOU PROBABLY LOVE YOUR BOYFRIEND AND YOU THINK BABIES ARE CUTE AND THAT IT WILL MAKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND STRONGER BUT 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND ARE GONNA BREAK UP AND YOUR GONNA BE LEFT ALONE, A SINGLE TEEN MOTHER, A STATISTIC. YOU HAVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE A HEAD OF YOU, YOU HAVEN’T EVEN FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL. THINK ABOUT YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR CHILDS FUTURE IF YOU HAVE A BABY NOW. WILL YOU(NOT YOUR PARENTS) BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR BABY FINANCIALLY? YOU NEED TO BE FOCUSED ON GETTING YOUR EDUCATION AND THEN MAYBE SOME YEARS DOWN THE LINE YOU’LL FALL IN LOVE, GET MARRIED AND HAVE A BABY WITH SOMEONE WHO YOU’LL BE WITH TILL THE DAY YOU DIE, SOMEONE WHO CAN PROVIDE FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD. YOU REALLY NEED TO THINK THIS THROUGH. YOU’RE MAKING A VERY IRRESPONSIBLE DECISION AND YOU REALLY TO TALK TO SOMEBODY BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TRYING TO GET YOURSELF INTO.

Sweetie, you are way too young to go having a child! I mean, as sure as you and your boyfriend think you are to have a baby right now, you really aren’t sure (your subject title proves that!). I’m very glad that you and your boyfriend are able to be so open and have good communication about such adult topics but please, re-consider. TRUST ME, YOU DON’T WANT TO GIVE UP YOUR OWN CHILDHOOD! If you think about your own life and background, what can you say about it? Is it good? Do you feel that your parents (if their still together) raised you "the right way" or, do you feel that they were very unfair to you? If so, think about this; What kind of a parent do you think your capable of being at 15 years old? Would you want to be that baby, having a 15 year old mother? How do you expect to be able to give that child the foundation and experience that the child is going to need? You can’t even drive yet! The difference between imature and mature is dependancy! Do you want to have to depend on your parents and everyone else in your life to take care of you, drive you here, pay for this, give up that! Your choice is going to effect everyone around you just as much as it does you and I think that’s very selfish of you and I don’t say that to put you down! I felt the same way at fifteen and I am almost 24 now and I’m still not ready! Remember, the children we have today are our leaders of tomorrow and if your not ready to commit to giving them your blood, sweat and tears to make them a better person, then you are jepordizing everyone’s future, including yours!
