Hi, I’m new here

Hello all, I’m new to the site, and would like to tell you a little about myself and why I am here.

My name is Cora,I am 26yrs old, and I have been married to the man I love, Shaun, for 5yrs. Together we have been blessed with four beautiful children. Charlotte is 4yrs, Faith is 3, William is 2, and Abby is 8mon. They are my joys, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world(even on the craziest days:woohoo: ) To be completely honest, I have to say although we did conceive all of our children in wedlock, we didn’t wait on sex before marriage. We both wish so much now that we would have done that differently and waited.

The reason I am here goes back to day after pres elections this year. I just wept and got down on my knees and prayed when I heard the results. I know their position on abortion, and how they seek to destroy life. I was sick to my stomach all day, and a heaviness settled on me. I realized that I need to take my beliefs and put action behind them. I need to do more than weep for those babies and mothers . I have spent as much time as I can the last couple of weeks learning about abortion to better understand where I stand. Hard days, let me tell you. (I came across this site and was encouraged and excited.)I prayed for where God wants to use me in all of this and this is what He has given me so far.

Five for Life. Five women, five girls. Five women committed to helping, mentoring, supporting and engaging personally with a girl in an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy. To be there for her as long as she and her baby need them. I am one of the five. I don’t know who the other four are yet, but I am really praying hard on that one right now. I am also praying for the girls and their babies who we will be privileged to walk this road with in their lives. I don’t have much materially speaking, I don’t have a ton of experience but I do have a whole lot of love for mommies and their babies. Hey, that means you guys too!:)
