Hey everyone, my Mom bought me a book for my baby shower awhile back and I wanted to share it with you. Each line is significant, this book really brought tears to my eyes because the people who said I should not be having a baby really hurt my feelings. I knew my baby mattered and I knew my baby would bring so much love into our lives but people doubted my pregnancy completely…just because I was young.
The book is called "Hello World".
Look out world, here I am.
When you were born, God said, "YES!"
You are an unrepeatable miracle. No one exactly like you was ever born or ever will be.
All of us are born for a reason. You are not here by mistake.
What is life for? It’s for YOU.
There’s an original song inside you!
Think…of the world you carry within you.
Compared to the age of the universe, you are new to nature. No one can really predict to what heights you might soar. Even you will not know until you spread your wings.
You must give your own story to the world.
We all have the extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released.
What is the little one thinking about? Very wonderful things, no doubt! Unwritten history! Unfathomed mystery!
The world is before you, and you need not take it or leave it as it was when you came in.
A thousand dreams dance in a mother’s eyes as she watches the crib where her baby lies.
Follow you dreams, they know the way.
You shall see wonders.
Our babies will create a world we cannot imagine, they will accomplish things we cannot even dream.
So many worlds, so much to do, such things to be.
Reach for your dreams, and they will reach for you.
Whatever you are, be a good one.
For I know the plans I have for you; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
May you never miss a sunset or a rainbow because you are looking down.
May life’s greatest gifts always be yours-happiness, memories and dreams.
May you grow to be as beautiful as God meant you to be when he first thought of you.I hope this helps you girls. Your babies are here for a reason and no matter what people try to tell you, a baby is not a mistake. I had hard times throughout my pregnancy but everyday, I read this book and in my heart I KNEW my baby mattered to this world. I KNOW I can help my son grow to be a good person and to reach for his dreams and to make memories he will always cherish.
Just like the book says, children are miracles. My son is now almost 9 months old and everyday since he was born, he has brought me the most happiness I have ever felt throughout my 19 years on this earth. I don’t regret ANY of my past decisions and if I could do it all over again, I’d change NOTHING. Good luck girls, raise you babies and don’t listen to the people who think nothing of you just because your a teen mother!
