Hey Maria, I know those kind of results can be confusing but let me clear a couple of things up for you. I am not a doctor but from my own experience I can tell you that if you got a faint positive and then an hour later a negative that means that the first test you have very little HCG hormone in your urine (HCG is the hormone that only shows up in pregnancy and what the test looks for in your urine) This means that you either had a lot to drink and had frequently urinated so there was not much built up in there, then by taking another test an hour later it meant even less hormone build up in the urine because you had just released some earlier with the first test. That is why it is a negative. The best time to test for a more accurate result is first thing in the morning after you have been asleep all night with no fluids. That is when your hormone levels will be the highest in your urine. What I would do if I were you is call this number, Optionline 1-800-395-HELP, they can give you the number and location of the closest pregnancy resource center to you where you can get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test to confirm your pregnancy, they will also be able to counsel you with your options as a result of what your test says, and I am pretty sure it will be positive with what you have experienced. They can also give you an ultrasound and help you to look into medical and other types of things available for pregnant women, and there are a lot of resources available to pregnant women.
