i am 19 and have a beautiful 20month old daughter, éabha (ava). me and her father had a rocky relationship..mainly my fault, my father passed away and i flew off the wall a little bit. we split up on and off, but for good abot 2 months ago. i wanted my ex back but he wouldnt so i tried to move on,i am seeing a wonderful guy now. . but i have found out today my babys father is seeing me someone else, and im devestated. i dont knw if i still love my ex or if im just worried about another girl being in my babys life. all i know is im realy finding it hard. anyone been in the same situation?

        hi

i went threw the same thing with my ex, we split up when i was 21 and are son was 8months old and even tho i was happy being a single mum i was crushed when i found out my ex had a new gf. it was strange coz i didnt want him back but i also didnt like knowing i COULDN’T have him back if i changed my mind, selfish i know! i liked knowing that he’d be there if my son (and sometimes i) needed him.
Hes been with hes gf for 4yrs now and even tho i still havent met her i’m fine with the stiuation. my son seems to enjoy being with her and in all honesty i’m glad someone else has to put up with my ex’s bull **** instead of me lol.
I love my ex, prob always will but its only because he has given me the best gift any1 can give a person, MY SON!
Enjoy ur child, cherish every single moment because it wont b long b4 they are all grown up and moving out. Spend time with your friends aswel, girly nights in with a bottle of wine and a chick flick once the kids are asleep really helped me.
Most of all just remeber you can do anything and you dont need a man to do it, the men need us 🙂
I hope you find the happiness your looking for soon hunny xxx
