I recently found out that i was pregnant. I’m not super skinny either, and my friend told me that since i was bigger, not only would i gain more weight, i’d also put my baby at risk. i dont want this to happen!!!! I’m not talking diet pills, or crazy workouts, I’m never ever gonna pit a “diet pill” in my mouth…
but how can i make my body safer for Me, and My BABY? and how can i keep my “gain” weight at a low? (but not too low!??
i’m a big walker, i walk about 16 miles A DAY, (i walk home, and i cant stand driving places) and i drink a lot of water… also, i dont wanna get “big” until later in my pregnancy… If this all makes sense, can i please get some answers???

Make sure everything you eat is healthy. Find alternatives to cravings(want ice cream? have yogurt.). When I go weighed at the doctors office it said I was about 130 lbs at 28 weeks(from 105lbs prepreg.), and when I dug in a little deeper thats on the high side of weight to gain. So I cut out a lot of the bad food I had been eating and its made the weight gain a little slower, but with a healthy baby. I must be doing pretty good, no stretchies yet.
Ask your doctor just to make sure its safe, or tell him at your next appointment how to keep the gain slow and steady.
        Goddluck! 🙂

During pregnancy it’s very necessary to eat well. It should make sure to have a healthy diet during pregnancy. You should have more vitamins and minerals, especially folic acid and iron. Calories intake during pregnancy is also necessary as well. Getting your diet right for pregnancy is more about the quality and quantity both. Limit junk food intake, as it has lots of calories with with very little nutrients. http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=12584&page=1Has lot of info, which may help you recognizing the perfect diet.
