Well, I got my Depo shot at the very end of December, I was told there was no chance of pregnancy, and I’d have no side effects other than a few pounds of weight gain.
I had unprotected sex twice (Jan 31 ’05 anf Feb 1 ’05).
For the past week or so I’ve been really queasy, almost to the point of throwing up, I’ve had headaches, back cramps, and I’ve been sooo incredibly tired! I’ve been having the worst mood swings. I was sort of afraid I was pregnant but just to be sure I talked to my Anatomy Teacher and he told me his neice had two kids on it!
So I took a HPT and it showed up neg, so I asked my gynecologist and she said that any tests I took, even a blood test, would show up neg because of the progestin in my system.
Please help me, I have no idea what to do!
I think your doctor should be able to tell by doing an internal examination. I know when one is pregnant a plug develops at the opening of the cervix and it supposedly changes to a purplish color. I am not sure what your money situation is like, but an ultrasound would tell.
