Hello, i am currently 6 days late on my period. I have taken 2 hpt’s but both came out neg. I took one a couple of days ago, in the middle of the day and the other one just this morning when i woke up. About 3 days ago i was expirencing bad lower abdominal pains which lasted for almost 2 days . With those pains i also had sharp pains in my rectum as well, which was very uncomfortable to move or bend over, as for the pains would hurt even more. I dont know if that would be a symptom or not. I had pains in my stomach(area above my belly button)for a couple of days, it kind of felt sourish and hurt more at time. With that i also felf like i was going to throw up but i didnt. I seem to be hungry all the time and i think i even gained some weight. Please help, when should i take another test, any opinions?? =)
I would give it about 3 or 4 more days, and like you said you did with the last test, take it first thing when you wake up. Many things can affect your period – even stress about the possiblity of being pregnant can make you days or even weeks late. There is also the possiblility that you conceived and are miscarrying. If you don’t start in about a week or so, and the tests are still negative, you may want to actually see a doctor. I could be just stress or it could be something more serious. – Heather
