 i finally told my boy friend that we were having a baby and he started acusing me of ceating. he told me that he did not want eny thing to do with our baby. i dont know what to do at this point. i really cant prove it is his yet and it is breaking my heart. i just found out i am having a boy and i want to have some one to share that with. i know that the dad will come around but by that time he will have missed alot of important parts of having a baby. i really dont like going to my oltra-sounds by my self. it makes me feel like my son will have a missing part of him and i dont want that. he does need his dad in his life but i dont think i can stay in a realationship with the dad. he does treat me well and he loves me but it wont be the same.

Heey I am sorry you are in a situation like this, but yes, the father will hopefully come around. By the time the baby is born if he is still in denial, make him pay for a DNA test. He needs to understand that he helped make his son and needs to step up as a father. I really hope he comes around soon! Just keep at him and hopefully it will get in his mind that he is a father! Good luck and i am here if you need to talk (:

Im so sorry you’re in this situation. I hope that the father comes to se your baby as his too. I agree that you should have a dna test so that everyone is clear on who the father is and what their role in this baby’s life is. Stay strong and remember your little boy needs you! Keep us updated and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns or just need to talk!

              Hey Hannahbell,
Knowing whether or not to get the father involved is a difficult situation. If you want to receive child support from him, you’ll have to tell him eventually. But if you decide to tell him, make sure you are comfortable doing so. Make a plan! If you think he might hurt you, tell him over the phone. If you think he will yell at you and call you names when you tell him, send him an email. Spend some time really thinking it through and make a plan of action. After you give him the information, it is his decision how he wants to react to it. Many times people don’t react well initially; however, with time they come around.

Hang in there! We’re always here for you at Stand Up Girl!
