OKAY HERE’S MY STORY.. I’M 20 I WILL BE 21 JANUARY 22… I HAVEN’T HAD A PERIOD IN 3 MONTHS BUT I’VE HAD FEMALE PROBLEMS IN THE PAST WHICH I HAVEN’T FOUND A DOCTOR YET THAT CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME.. I WAS HAVING TO GET BLOOD TRANSFUSSIONS EVERYTIME I WOULD HAVE A PERIOD CAUSE I BLEED SO HEAVY.. BUT I HAVEN’T HAD ONE IN 3 MONTHS SO I BOUGHT AN AT HOME PREGNACY TEST AND IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE SO I WAITED A COUPLE WEEKS AND TOOK ANOTHER IT WAS POSITIVE.. WELL I TOOK ANOTHER ONE A COUPLE DAYS AGO AND IT WAS NEGATIVE.. WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THIS.. I STILL HAVEN’T STARED, MY BOOBS ARE SWOLLEN AND DARKER, I’M HAVING NAUSEA, I’M GAININ WEIGHT, I’VE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF CRAMPING BUT THAT’S IT.. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE OR IDEAS OF WHAT THIS MAYBE.. I LOST MY HEALTH INSURANCE SO THEREFORE I AM HAVING TROUBLE GOING TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE OF IT.. BUT I HAVE FOUND A FREE CLINIC THAT I AM GOING TO GO TO SATRUDAY.. HOW DO I TELL THE DOCTOR WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME AND HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?

That’s really weird but usually you don’t get false positives on pregnancy tests but false negatives are common. And your symptoms sound like you are pregnant! So just explain it to the clinic on sat exactly like you explained it to us on here! GOOD LUCK!:cheer: Let us know what happens!

Well I am at a lost as to what is going on with you. My friend who I just asked to be my child’s godmother was anxiously awaiting her period since September…… Well she has all the classic pregnancy sypmtoms that you listed, fuller breast, darkening of the areoli and gaining weight….
Your pregnancy test could simply be a false postive/negative or you may have done it incorrectly (I took ten and believed the first one that told me negative)
I went to the Dr and got a blood test and had to believe that.
When you go to your doctor explain thoroughly what you have said here and DO NOT LEAVE without an answer whether pregnant or otherwise. It can be intimidating when at the doctor’s office but just say what you must to get the answers you need.
I wish you luck and hope you are just pregnant and nothing more serious

well i cant say that this has ever happened to me but iv looked ip alot about pregnancy and symptoms:
Your period stops or becomes very light.
You may feel nausea or queasiness. Some women vomit. ("Morning sickness" can happen any time of day — it may help to eat small meals throughout the day, snack on crackers or toast, or drink juice or lemonade.)
Your breasts swell and may be tender.
Your nipples and the area around the nipples (areola) get darker and broader.
You have to urinate more often.
You feel tired.
You may become constipated and have heartburn (Tums may help).
You may have headaches.
You experience mood swings — feel angry, sad, or happy for no reason.i hope some of this helps you i think you should explain to ur doctor how u have been feeling and the situation you are currently in. goodluck!!! xx

If the positive came between two negatives, you likely let the test strip sit too long. That’s why the directions say to read it within X amount of minutes. As for the period, have you done anything different in the last several months like did the doctor give you any meds to slow down your heavy periods? It does sound unusual to go through the things you named (especially three missed periods) and not be pregnant, so I’d definitely get to the clinic or doctor and have them do a more accurate blood test.
