Okay I have a question- I had sex with two guys in the same month
Guy A – Oct 7
Guy B- Oct 26-28? not sure of exact date, but it was the end week of october.Well I found out i was pregnant in november, and when i got my first sonogram done at 9 weeks, it was saying i concieved Oct. 30, but it just doesnt seem logical ( Guy B and i used a condom, it broke, so we stopped- we didnt finish AT ALL) (Guy A was NO condom because we were both under the influence of alcohol and STUPID!) Well, a few days after guy A, i started to spot- the sonogram said that it wasnt spotting it was a period around the 11th of OCT. Are sonograms usually correct? My doctor is saying that guy B is the father. And my questions are
* Are sonograms usually correct about concieved dates and last period dates?
* How long can sperm survive inside the female body before reaching the egg? Is two weeks too long?
* If i had sex the 7th of oct, is there any way i could have concieved the end of oct?April 16, 2005 at 4:27 am #7400JonluverWhen you get an ultrasound they measure the baby from all angles. If your doctor is telling you that it guy b then it is. Sprem and only live up to 24 hours in your body. Sprem are a base and your reproductive symptom is an acid. So they neuturize each other and eventually the sprem dies. (hope that makes sense to you)
When guys have sex a small amount of semien is realased throughout the whole act. (that clear liquid) It contains small amout of sprem. If the condom broke than some of it got in you and you only need ONE sprem to get pregnant! Hope this helps you.April 18, 2005 at 8:18 am #7422Anonymoushoney there is probably no way – the guy at the beginning of the month ,sperm can only live up to 5 days in the uterus- not 24 hours as some one replied. thats a fact, sonograms are very acurate when done early in pregnancy, my ob saidbetween 7 and 10 weeks is the very best time, hope this helps you guy A is out of the question
April 21, 2005 at 5:57 pm #7478Anonymousi agree with what tc said about how long the sperm can live, i have hear that also, i was told that 3-5 days before and after ovulation are fertile times, how true it is i am not sure. one thing i am not sure about is the pre-cum, i was told by my ob-gyn that the pre cum had actually the most concentrated amount of sperm in it, thus why the rhythm method fails so much. anyhow, i wish you luck hon, only way to really know is a paternity test when the baby is due. 🙂
April 23, 2005 at 5:36 am #7494AnonymousYes, I have also heard sperm last just 3 days. I learned it in college biology. You’re fertile 3-5 days (depending on your cycle length). If you can pinpoint the FIRST day of your LAST period and add 14 days; that is the time of conception.
I would listen to the Dr.s they’ve done a lot of research and are accurate in approximating the conception time.
Good luck!

They measure the weight and gestational size of your baby and determine when he was conceived. The determine from your last period when your due date is, too. I think about 2 weeks after your period is when you get pregnant or something like that.
I believe sperm survive for only a couple of days.
Well, pertaining to the last question: you said you had sex with him at the end but you’re not sure which date, well that’s probably why you’re so confused. It probably was him because you had sex with him after you had your period, right? Well, there you go, your body was gettin ready for another crack at conceiving you a child and you did. Your doctor is right don’t stress about it. If worse comes to worse get a DNA test and if you want custody the state will do it free for you if you get child support. I know your pain, I didn’t want a baby either! But life is hard…..you’ll be ok.September 2, 2016 at 3:37 pm #29132JessicacreativeSonogram is really accurate. Your description shows that Guy B can be father. To be absolutely sure you can take paternity testing: after baby is born or non-invasive prenatal https://dnasu.com/services/prenatal-test/ But after your explanation, it’s almost obvious that guy B is the father.
