My friend wants me to make a forum post for her so here goes!
About two weeks ago my friend had sex and she just happened to be ovulating that night. Today she told me that she’s been experiencing feelings of ‘being pregnant’. She said that she’s had slight cramps about a week after sex, headaches, backaches, dizziness, feeling fatigued and needing to pee all the time.
She’s due to get her ‘monthly visitor’ on Monday which is two days away from now and she’s well aware that the symptoms could just be related to that but she’s wanting to know if it is possible that she’s pregnant as well.
Any opinions and advice is much, much appreciated! 🙂

it does sound like symptoms of pregnancy and yes it’s possible. She should take a pregnancy test and check with a local pregnancy care center for any help she may need. optionline.org is a good place to start. Thanks for being there for her, she’s a lucky girl to have you!
Thank you for replying! I found out that she isn’t pregnant though. She had just thought about it so much that she built the symptoms up in her mind so much that she actually felt them. Weird, huh? I didn’t even know that was possible! She’s learned her lesson though – she’s more careful with guys but she knows that she can talk to me whenever she needs to as well :’)
that does happen, and when I heard that for the first time I was surprised. I’m glad she is both learning and your friendship got deeper. Glad you reached out for advice as well 🙂
