Has anyone been on the depo shot and got pregnant as soon as they got off? If so, plz help.And how long did it take for u to get pregnant? And has anyone experienced bleeding after being off of the shot? if so,how long did it last?

IHAVE CAME OF THE DEPO IN AUGUST AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING SINCE THEN WITHOUT ANY LUCK I REALLY WANT ANOTHER BABY, YH I HAVE EXPERIENCED BLEEDING SINCE OCTOBER TILL THE BEGGING OF THES MONTH AND DEN IT STOPPED MY PERIOD WENT BACK TO NORMAL BUT IT HASNT COME YET… I NEED HELP TO I WISHED I NEVER TOOK IT U HAVE IRREGULAR BLEEDING WHICH MAKES U HARD TO TRY AN MAKE A BABY.

WELL SORRY TO SAY AFTER LOOKING AT THE INTERNET I DONT THINK WE WILL BE HAVING ANY BABYS TILLS AFTER A YR IT SAID WOMEN ARE MORE LIKELY TO FALL PREGNANT ABOUT A YR AFTER THERE LAST DEPO-SHOT…….IM SO UPSET CAUSE I’VBE BEEN TRYING FOR LONG AND MY DOCTOR NEVER TOLD ME THIS WOULD HAPPENED OVERWISE I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT TYPE OF CONTRACEPTION WELL GOOD LUCK TO U I HOPE U CAN HAVE A BABY SOONER I JUST CAME OF MY INJECTION IN AUGHUST SO I’VE GOT A LONG WAIT…:(

Hey, my sister was on the depo shot for nearly a year. Anyways when she was due to get another shot,she didnt end up going to get the new shot until the following week that it was suposed to be done. And because of that, I now have a beautiful 4 month old neice!

my mama put me on the shot because she had found out that i had lost my virginity but i wish i neva got on it. but after my first shot i never went back to get my other ones and i’ve been bleedin for like 3 weeks now but i wasnt cramping. and now i’ve been bleedin alot for like 3 days and i think its my period because my stomach been hurtin but i dont know. and my boyfriend tried 2 get me pregnant so many times but it just didnt work.but we gon try in maybe february or sumthin.

I know for a fact it doesnt take a yr. My cousin came off it and became pregnant straight away. I was surprised at that too coz i thought your body had to rid it out of your system.
I was on the pill for 3yrs or so and wanted to fall pregnant and the gyno told me it can take up to a yr to get out of your system but it didnt take that long. To my surprise i was pregs when i went to see the gyno about getting pregnant. So there is still hope girls.
