not to make light of your situation (because i am certain you cared about your fish!) but a baby is so different! Its a common fear though- i have a fear that ill drop her or something awful. But, in truth we are going to love our babies and care for them unlike anything we ever imagined. God gave us mothering instincts much more defined than caring for animals or fish which we cant even touch. Dont worry about it babe! you are going to do fine! plus, babies can take a lot more than a fish and we fight so much harder to give them everything they need! i hope you stop feeling so badly about it! let me know if youd like to talk! I’m sorry about your late fishy!!

Honey fish die very easy and there is a big difference between a fish and a baby. once you have your baby your mother instincts well kick in right away and you will do anything to protect your baby, when i was pregnant with my son, i was always thinking negative things like what if i leave him somewhere by accident or i used to have dreams that i left him in a taxi when we were coming home from the hospital but as long as you don’t have thoughts about intentionally hurting your baby, you should be okay it its normal to be nerveous.December 3, 2006 at 12:43 pm #13621Anonymous
YOU NEED TO STOP WORRING AND ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY…. YOU WILL BE FINE AND IT IS NORMAL TO HAVE THOSE FEELINGS AND IT PROBABLY WILL NEVER STOP … YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL THAT YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH…..BUT YOU ARE!!! GOD GAVE YOU THIS BABY AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH AND KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS BABY!!
GOOD LUCK!December 3, 2006 at 4:14 pm #13623kez_mummy_2_skye
An animal is very different to a baby. You will realise that when bubs is here and i think most ppl think about the bad when they are pregnant such as whether they are going to be a good mum or not. Dont stress about it just enjoy the pregnancy!
