hey, im only 3.5 weeks but ive been having sharp pains first they started in my ovary area.. n then they went into my lower abdomen (uterus, i assume)…. i was just wondering if you can have a miscarriage and have no blood.
I mean i had one tiny not even full spot of light brown/pink right around when i should of gotten implantation so i assumed it was that. i havent had anything since then.. the pain is on and off… and it feels like sharp pulling on something inside.
please share your opinions im kinda scared. thanks.March 28, 2007 at 1:24 am #16296Suzy_n_Chris
Chances are your uterus or the muscles around there are stretching. Something like that happened to me and they told me it was muscles preparing already. Or it could be a cyst. Something you should deffinatly get checked out. Have you called your (or any) doctor about this? I actually had a positive blood test and felt some symptoms when they did the ultrasound, there was nothing there… long story. The moral being, get to the doctor if your worried.March 28, 2007 at 4:47 pm #16330anonymouslyscared
Best bet for anything pregnancy it to talk to your OB/GYN about it. It may just be pregnancy symptoms associated with implantation, or something else. You should just go check with your doctor to be safe.:lol:March 28, 2007 at 5:02 pm #16332roxannes_legacy
Alot of times that is just your body stretching and stuff for the baby. I had the same pains and that is what my doctor told me. And recently a dear friend of mine was going through the same thing and she was maybe about a week ahead of you. Her doctor said the same. I really wouldn’t worry to much about it unless they really start increasing in pain.March 28, 2007 at 5:06 pm #16334roxannes_legacy
I found this website for you: http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnancy/prenatalhealth/204.html
And I found the pain symptom that I was talking about. I hope this helps some.
Round ligament pain
Round ligament pain is generally a brief, sharp, stabbing pain or a longer-lasting, dull ache that you may feel on one or both sides of your lower abdomen or deep in your groin, usually starting in your second trimester. It happens when the ligaments that support your uterus in your pelvis stretch and thicken to accommodate and support its growing size.
You may feel a short jabbing sensation if you suddenly change position, such as when you’re getting out of bed or up from a chair or when you cough, roll over in bed, or get out of the bathtub. Or you may feel a dull ache after a particularly active day, if you’ve been walking a lot or doing some other physical activity. Call your caregiver if this discomfort continues even after you’ve rested.March 29, 2007 at 11:56 pm #16364Stephie.b
