Kay, I’m not writing this to get replies but more so because I need to get this off of my chest. I was trying before but now that I’ve stopped trying to conceive, I think it’s finally happened. And I’m not the only who feels so. I’ve had people and my former teachers from last year stare at my belly, patting it, asking how far along I am or asking if I’m pregnant.
Not to mention, I’ve been feeling “popcorn popping” sensations in my stomach, cramping, sore breasts, nasuea, peeing a lot more, my stomach is huge, my uterus is larger than the norm, AND I was spotting light pink and light brown blood for a few days.
But then I tried to remind myself that there was a logical explanation for everything.
sore breasts= growing
peeing more= i had an infection from a bubble bath
stomach huge=poor diet
uterus=growing with my fat stomach
and spotting=IDK bout that one.
My bestfriend really really thinks I should go get a test done but I’m not due for my pd for another week and feel like after 2 false alarms, it’d be a waste of time.August 21, 2008 at 6:52 am #21954Meg11
Ok so you are in a spot where you have “learned your lesson” but may have to “suffer the consequences” anyways…right? The best thing you can do is take things one step at a time and learn from this…I think you should wait to take the test, wait until you are at least 2 days late and try to keep the possible pregnancy off of your mind a little because that can cause you to be late, then if you are late take the test with your first mornings urine, if it is negative and you haven[‘t started in a week then retest the same way, first thing in the am, here is a number to call for assistance, 1-800-395-HELP, they will give you the number and location to the closest Pregnancy Resource Center to you where you can get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test…if you turn out to not be pregnant then do not take this for granted and whole heartedly learn from this and make a commitment for abstinence until marriage, I did and it was so rewarding…if you are pregnant then it is not the end of the world, you will find support and you will find the strength to make it day by day…let us all know what happens, just remember that even when you change your mind today we still sometimes have to live with what we did the day before…hang in there and stay strong…Love MegAugust 29, 2008 at 4:13 pm #22038Anonymous
Did you get your period yet? Or did you find out if you are pregnant?
