I’m 15 and here’s my story…I have been dating my boyfriend since November 8th, 2010. We dated in August for a little less than a month before I broke up with him for someone else, yet he still hung on and he gave me second chance…anyway a few weeks ago we had sex at his house and my parents didn’t know I was even goin to his house, and I am still not sure how to tell my parents…well my mom. I want to tell my mom because I’m trying to be more open with her, but she went to all girls high school and didn’t loose her virginity till she was 19..so I’m not sure if she will understand 🙁 can someone help me figure out if i should wait a little while before telling her or what  pleaseeee(:December 15, 2010 at 7:46 am #27753Anonymous

Hello Sweetie.. I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. I know it seems scary and you think because your mom hasn’t had the same experiences as you that she cant understand. That’s not necessarily true.. I don’t know your mom so I cant say for sure.. but I know as a mom now.. nothing is as important as my own daughter and nothing she could say would make me not love her or make me abandon her..
She may get very mad at you.. we want the best for our kids and dealing with adult issues at such a young age will definitely make your mom sad.. We don’t want our babies to have hard times and struggle.. But I think you need to tell her as soon as you can.. you aren’t alone and don’t have to carry this heavy subject alone.. Your mom is definitely going to be upset.. because she loves you..
Give her time to let it sink in and don’t let anything she might say that’s negative hurt you.. she will be shocked.. sad and hurt.. and she will probably feel like she didn’t do something right.. but she loves you! Don’t wait because for the baby’s sake and your body’s you need to start prenatal care.
Please whatever you do.. don’t let anyone push you around.. Nothing is an easy fix and probably nothing is going to be the same after this.. Ask questions.. don’t let anyone tell you to be quiet and just follow along.. Get as much information as possible.. Its important for you to know as much as you can and your momma can help you with that.. She may understand more than you think 🙂 If you need any help with anything plz let me know <3
