i was sick for the first 5 months, and then the last month and a half. try cheese-its cuz at some point i was gonna throw myself off a bridge if i ate one more saltine. also, it helps to stay hydrated which is hard when it feels like \"if i drink this itll just come back up\" so i ate apples, but only a few slices at a time, and chew REALLY good, cuz its always worse coming up than it was going down. also, i had an ultrasound at 12 weeks cuz they thought something was wrong and after seeing her it didnt bother me to be sick anymore. O! and try slurpees and stuff like that, not milkshakes-theyre too thick

I know that peppermints help when your stomach is upset. Try that and see how it works. And try eating smaller meals throughout the day rather than three large meals.

Jen,

I had terrible morning sickness too. It has gotten a lot better now that I am in my second trimester. There is a light at the end of the tunnel! I found that avoiding foods with a lot of sugar, salt and especially fat and grease helped some. Ginger candy, pepermints, and lemon drops also helped a little. It helped some to eat more frequently in little amounts than eating larger meals less frequently. Hope this helps. Hang in there!
