 Hi Becky, As the end of my senior year approached I felt different something had changed. Sure enough, a baby was growing inside of me. I was 18 and found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after graduating. I went to a clinic and I was 5 weeks pregnant. I was devastated. |

 I just found this website and want to say how awesome I think it is! I wanted to share my story. I know that young, unmarried women often need feel alone in pregnancy. The reason I feel that my story NEEDS to be shared is that I was married and got no support from my husband. I think it's important for women who are out there realize that no matter what your situation, abortion is NOT the answer. |

 In August of 1999 i was raped. He was a friend who was high and he raped me. I live in a small southern town. Being friends with him and his sister was already a problem. You see, i am white, and he is black. In the beginning of October I found out i was pregnant. |

 I just turned 21 years old & I've been dating this guy for 3 months now. I never really wanted to be with him so I don't know why I've stayed. He's a nice enough guy but I don't get the butterflies & I don't like having him around much or really like him touching me. Then yesterday I got up the nerve to buy 2 pregnancy tests which both turned out positive, I also haven't got my period this month. I'm stuck between abortion & keeping the baby. I always said I'd have an abortion but I don't know if I could handle it afterwards. |

 I found out I was pregnant halfway through my junior year. Nolan and I went to the store and bought a test. I waited until I got home and took it. Sure enough, it was positive. I never ever thought two little pink lines could be so scary. I took it again just to make sure. It was positive… again. I called Nolan and told him. We both cried. It was so terrifying. |

 I know that many of the teenage mothers out
there are dealing with the thought of abortion and trying to figure out if they
really want to give up their teenage years for a baby. I just want to share an
encouraging word with them. I know that if I was strong enough to get through it
all, then just about anyone can. There will be ups and downs of motherhood, but
there are ups and downs in all of life, really.

I was 17 and pregnant from a one night stand. My father tried to convince me to have an abortion, I already knew immediately that wasn't an option for me. My mother wanted me to give the baby up for adoption. My Uncle offered to pay for my college (4 year education) if I would give him my baby.
